New York, NY – The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (CBHF), established by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush to raise money for Haiti relief and recovery efforts after the January earthquake, has appointed a Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer to manage the Fund’s operations.
The six-person board will provide policy guidance and oversee the Fund’s strategy and processes, while monitoring fundraising and cash disbursements to relief organizations operating in Haiti to ensure full adherence to the Fund’s mission and vision.

New York – America’s leading beverage companies have delivered on a three-year commitment with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a joint initiative of the American Heart Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation, to remove full-calorie soft drinks from schools across the country and replace them with lower-calorie, smaller-portion beverages. As a result of the landmark agreement there has been an 88 percent reduction in calories from beverages shipped to schools since 2004.

Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund
Since the creation of the Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund in January, the Fund has raised over $13 million from more than 100,000 individuals for relief, recovery, and reconstruction assistance, and in the month after the disaster has allocated $3 million to a dozen 501(c)3’s on the ground, while also supporting the shipment and delivery of life-saving supplies donated from businesses and other organizations.
The Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund has allocated a total of $3 million to the following organizations on the ground in Haiti:

Clinton Foundation’s focus on worldwide issues that demand urgent action, solutions, and measurable results, and reflecting President Clinton’s decades-long connection to Haiti, the Clinton Foundation is turning the donations by individuals and organizations of money and supplies into direct assistance for the people and Government of Haiti.
Since the earthquake in Haiti on January 12 that left more than 200,000 dead, 300,000 injured, and 1 million homeless, the Clinton Foundation Haiti Fund, responding to the needs of the people and Government of Haiti, has provided for or supported the shipment and delivery of over 20 tons of medical supplies, over 45,000 lbs. of water donated by Coca Cola and 39,000 bottles of water from Eventide Natural Spring Water, 5 GE SunSpring units capable of producing up to 5,000...
